We are pleased to offer this pair of Dutch Delft blue and white chargers in the Theeboom pattern. They show a tea plant with fan-shaped leaves and flowers. This is one of the most beautiful patterns created for delft chargers in the 18th century. Which explains it’s popularity then and its desirability today. The decoration fills the well of the charger with cobalt blue. On the border are medallions and scroll designs with further cobalt blue. The chargers have delicately scalloped edges, which add another beautiful dimension.
Both chargers in the pair have the “C:F” mark for delft made under the supervision of Cornelis Fonteyne at the Old Moor’s Head factory (1770-1782).
Dimensions: diameter 10.15″
