Incredible original Hans J Wegner PP52 chair. Constructed from European oak with Wenge wood visible exposed joints and feet. Absolutely superb craftsmanship from PP Mobler, circa 1970. These are highly unusual designs with great attention to detail, as you should expect from Hans Wegner. The Wenge stitching details to the back rests is simply wonderful. Versatile, sturdy and very comfortable with leather seat upholstery.
Sometimes referred to as the ‘captains’ or ‘ferry’ chair.
