Large Pendant by Reggiani, circa 1960, Murano Glass and Brass

Large Italian brass pendant attributed to Reggiani, circa 1960. The large teardrop shaped diffuser is made of blown Murano glass with countless tiny bubbles – a technique called ‘Pulegoso’, which makes the glass semiopaque and gives the surface an irregular texture. The hardware is entirely of dark patinated brass. Very fine original condition with minor patina on the brass. One original brass and ceramic E27 socket with new wiring.
