Jayne Mansfield with Seagrams Dogs (Limited Edition of 10, No 5-10) – 30″x40″ 1955

Shot by Barry Kramer (1921- 1984), one of the most prolific photographers of his time, captures the essence of 1950’s Hollywood movie star, Jane Mansfield with “Seagram’s Dogs. It was shot by Barry Kramer in 1952. It and other iconic images captured by Barry Kramer, (circa 1950’s) went undiscovered for 32 years, until 2015, when found in a box containing it and other negatives, stored in the family’s basement. This image was professionally restored to recapture its original tonal qualities and printed in 2019.
