Graphically stunning large modernist handmade wall plate / bowl / centerpiece by ceramic artist Noomi Backhausen. Handpainted stylized organic floral decor in black, creamy yellow, warm orchre and clear glaze with carved lines. Raw stoneware on the back. Manufactured on the island of Bornholm by Soholm Stentoj in the early 1980s. In production two small holes were made on the back for wall hanging – see photo. Stamped and signed under base. Beautiful vintage condition.
