Covered Compote from early 19th Century

This set is comprised of the body and a lid. The body of this covered silver dish is low and circular, and each half of its surface covered with emphatic gadroons, crowned with semi-circular flourishes. The piece features floral detailing, with leaves and undulating stems. The lid of the compte is comprised of a stem with an upwards-facing acorn.
